The Road to Certainty

Every person has their own goals and purpose in life. How we tread our paths determines what kind of person we are. Have we chosen which way we want to go? If we are in the middle of our lives, we may look back at the past and see what we have done. Are those things significant to us or even significant to others? Have we done our job well and wasted no time? Sometimes laziness gets the best of us, and we make a myriad of excuses to divert our attention to doing trivial things or, worse, to doing things that are detrimental to ourselves.

Being responsible human beings is by nurturing ourselves to become the best version we can be. We must think of things that will benefit not just our lives but the lives of others as well. Selfishness is not a habit we should practice.

Many people do not care about the consequences of their actions. They do whatever they want. They do whatever is done by the majority. But the question is, is it the right thing to do? Is it the road we want to take? If you haven’t pondered about these things, then start thinking now.

Have a good day.

  1. Tinamaan na naman ako dito..haha..I quote “Most join to what is joined by many”, haha…

Road to certainty…definite, specific & goal-oriented path…I am too ambitious and I want to be successful but ironically, I do not know what really is my concept of success. One day, I want this…later, I want that…vague, ambiguous…magulo talaga ako..haha.. I may not be contented in some ways cause if I am, it is like – I stop dreaming and continue achieving. 🙂

    1. Hi Michelle,

      Always remember this verse:

      ANG DATING BIBLIA
      FILIPOS 2:13
Sapagka’t Dios ang gumagawa sa inyo maging sa pagnanasa at sa paggawa, ayon sa kaniyang mabuting kalooban.

      KING JAMES VERSION
      PHILIPPIANS 2:13
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good purpose.

      NEW LIVING TRANSLATION
      PHILIPPIANS 2:13
For God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him.

Surrender yourself to the will of the Lord, and never force your own will. Pray for guidance.

      KING JAMES VERSION
      PHILIPPIANS 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

      NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION
      PHILIPPIANS 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

      NEW LIVING TRANSLATION
      PHILIPPIANS 4:6
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Yes, prayers are our best weapon. Therefore:

      ANG DATING BIBLIA
      COLOSAS 4:2
      Manatili kayong palagi sa pananalangin, na kayo’y mangagpuyat na may pagpapasalamat;

      KING JAMES VERSION
      COLOSSIANS 4:2
      Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

      NEW WORLD TRANSLATION
      COLOSSIANS 4:2
Be persevering in prayer, remaining awake in it with thanksgiving,

You can do it with the help of God. 🙂

      Regards,

      Lester
